За­да­ние 43 № 2798. Imagine that these are photos from your photo album. Choose one photo to present to your friend.

You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). In your talk remember to speak about:
• where and when the photo was taken

• what/who is in the photo

• what is happening

• why you keep the photo in your album

• why you decided to show the picture to your friend

You have to talk continuously, starting with: "I’ve chosen photo number … ".

I’ve chosen photo number 1. I don’t travel a lot because I have a lot of work to do. But this trip was unforgettable. I decided to visit Australia in my summer vacations. I took this photo on the sixth day of our expedition. We came to the local village to see how people live there. They were very friendly. We hit it off immediately. They were kind enough to invite us to their apartment. One of them even told me the history of this place. In the photo they are gathering oranges which they use in different ways. The whole family is participating in gathering fruits. It's their old tradition. We left the village with bags full of ripe oranges. I keep the photo in my album because it reminds me of those local people who were very kind and friendly. I showed this picture to my friend because he was always interested in cultures of other people.

НАША ГИМНАЗИСТКА УЧИТСЯ В ЯПОНИИ

Уже второй месяц наша ученица 9 класса Вовкушевская Е. продолжает обучение в японской школе в рамках международной программы АFS Культура.

AFS IP — некоммерческая неправительственная организация, с 1947г. осуществляющая многонациональные международные культурно-образовательные обмены школьников старших классов. AFS IP включает в себя национальные партнерские организации в 56 странах мира и имеет статус в ООН, ЮНЕСКО, Совете Европы.

В рамках данной программы проводятся различные конкурсы для получения стипендий для обучения в одной из зарубежных стран, в одном из которых и участвовала наша ученица. Под руководством учителя английского языка Казаковой И.Ю. она стала победителем конкурса видеороликов и получила частичную стипендию для участия в AFS программе «Академический год за рубежом» в Японии. Пожелаем ей успехов в учебе и будем с интересом читать ее отзывы о жизни и учебе в этой удивительной стране в ее блоге.
